Well, we have finally decided to commence our painting project. We are going to stick with all the final colors that we originally picked out, except for our master bedroom. We ended up going with a lighter color blue called Liberty Gray.
I am so excited about our project! I am anxious to have all new walls and rooms! :) If any of you want to come help paint, let me know!

Ready for Fall
This weekend the Mid-South Hunting and Fishing Extravaganza {HAHA..extravaganza} is being held at our Agricenter. Just thinking about early Saturday mornings, freezing my butt off in a boat with my husband and dog {well, one of them at least} make me long for fall and winter! I have the most fond memories of fall, winter and spring. I am longing for deer steak, chili, and soup. I am ready to wear long underware again and give up my tank tops! Summer is just here to make me miserable.....and to make me sweat!
So even though it is still 90 + degrees outside, I know that fall is just around the corner. And the hunting and fishing expo is just one of the many reminders. What reminds you that fall is rapidly approaching {well, maybe not rapidly but definitely approaching}?
*Today, I'm thankful for the changing of the seasons!

Yoga
I went to Yoga last night for the 1st time ever. One of my co-workers and I belong to the same gym so we decided we would try yoga together. It was certainly a new experience and just what I was looking for. We both struggled a little and lost our balance a few times, but all in all it was quite fun. And surprisingly relaxing. I know that with time I will become more and more comfortable with the movement and of course re-gain flexibility {which is what I'm looking for}. So, for my 1st review of yoga, it's positive and I am definitely going back!

Baby Boom
Amongst my friends there is quite a baby boom. I am not going to name any names {that is not my place} so no one needs to worry. :) But I just want to say that I couldn't be happier for my friends. I wouldn't be me if I wasn't honest and said that it makes me think about a baby. It is no news to anyone {I don't think} that I cannot have children of my own, but I do entertain the idea of adoption at times. Times like these. When there is a baby boom. But then again, we already have 3 grown babies to fund, take care of, and play with and I change my mind rather quickly. *Chuckle*
I don't know what the Lord has in store for Tim and I, who knows, it might be a little one of our own to raise one day. Well just have to wait and see.....
**But for today, I am thankful for God's Faithfulness, Timing, and Grace.

Stress
I have NEVER been a person that suffers from stress, until I turned 30 and then 31. What is it about getting older that invites stress into our lives? Awareness? Our age? Circumstances? Or is it just life in general? The ebb and flow of life....I know as our lives change and grow God brings new people, new opportunities, new blessings into our lives everyday. I think as I am getting older, one thing stands out the most....change. I am at a point in my life where God is showing me certain things about myself that I have never seen before. I would have never thought that I didn't like change.....Me. Stacey. Not like change? Not possible! HA! But it's true, I am not a fan of change {in certain areas of my life}. You might be asking how this relates to stress. Well, I feel like my life is changing faster than I want it to right now and I'm stressing out!! I'm not able to fall asleep, I feel tired all the time, my neck and shoulders are holding the weight of the world {and it's heavy}!
So I looked up what the American Heart Association has to say about Stress. The #1 suggestion was talk or write to family and friends. DONE. :) That's what I'm doing here. Other suggestions on their list include physical activity {which I intend to try Yoga}, get organized, remember to laugh {my favorite b/c I do it everyday}, slow down, give up bad habits, etc. Those are just a few of their suggestions.
My question to you is, What helps you dissolve your stress? Any and all suggestions are welcome!

Summer Projects
So it's summer time and around the Harper household that means Projects {at least now that we're married it does}! This summer the project is paint. And I'm pretty darn excited about it. I can't wait to see how the different colors transform the house! I will put up some before pictures shortly. And of course there will be after pictures at the end of the summer. I'm sure along the way there will be some bumps in the road and there will definitely be pictures documenting those! But for now, here are the colors we have decided on.....at least for today! :)
