As I was going through pictures on my cell phone, I decided to finally use my Instagram app......and I LOVE it!!! My pictures are no where as good as some that I have seen, but here are some of my favorites.

Summer Projects

So it's summer time and around the Harper household that means Projects {at least now that we're married it does}! This summer the project is paint.  And I'm pretty darn excited about it.  I can't wait to see how the different colors transform the house!  I will put up some before pictures shortly.  And of course there will be after pictures at the end of the summer.  I'm sure along the way there will be some bumps in the road and there will definitely be pictures documenting those!  But for now, here are the colors we have decided on.....at least for today! :)

Wolf River at Humphreys Rd in Germantown

 One of the entrances to the bike trails off Wolf River Parkway in Germantown.

This is a parking lot on Wolf River Pkwy. This water was close to 5 ft at the deepest point.

Tim and I ride over this bridge all the time. This bridge railing is about 4ft. tall. The yield sign in the top right corner is about 6-7ft. tall.

Recovery

Surgery went well and everything went as planned. My female parts have been discarded {which makes me wonder what they do with that stuff once they remove it}.  I digress....anyway, I am at home recovering and my sweet husband has been taking very good care of me.

surgery.......again

well, i've been undecided on blogging about this but i decided i don't care and i'm going to blog about whatever i want. :) yall don't have to read this if you don't want to.
it was decided about a month ago that i would have surgery to complete my hysterectomy. i continually have cysts (some complex & some hemorrhagic). they also like to rupture which is very painful. so my doctor, my husband, and i decided it was best to take my ovaries out. thus completing what was started almost 4 years ago. we are doing this in hopes of eliminating the pain and evening out my hormones. one downside {if you want to call it that} is that i will be on HTR for the rest of my life. which to me sounds perfectly fine. maybe i'll finally feel "normal" again....at least normal for me.

so, for those of you who would like to know...my surgery is on may 17th. it is outpatient and i will be at home for 1 week. sounds like a breeze compared to others. :)
